This is an Argentium silver ring – with a permanent antique finish – and featuring a 4.5 carat round checkerboard cut garnet.
The black finish is an added step – a permanent antique finish that really suits this ring style. After antiquing I polish the highest points bringing a shiny silver against a black background. And this garnet is beautifully cut and a really wonderful, deep red colour.
This ring is a size 7 with a 1.75 cm wide front and the back is .77 cm wide.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with germanium added. Argentium silver is whiter, harder, slower to tarnish, purer (nickel-free) and has a higher silver content of 935 (sterling is 925)
