pietersite ring – size 8.5 – Argentium silver double-band
I have made 2 Argentium silver round bands and fused them together at the back. I then soldered a Bezel setting on top of the double bands. I like the double band design for larger stones because it supports the stone and keeps it from spinning on your finger, while being narrow on the inside of your hand for greater comfort.
This is a beautiful freeform shaped, natural Pietersite – cabochon cut. It is a very deep navy blue, with lots of banding and swirls that are characteristic of Pietersite.
The ring is a size 8.5
The front is 3.3 cm wide and the back is 0.8 cm wide.
The weight is 18.9 grams.
