pearl blister ring – size 8 – Argentium silver twig band
This Pearl blister is cut in a rough oval shape. It has very good luminescence in a soft blue/grey/silver colour. I have mounted this bezel set pearl on an Argentium silver Twig design band.
Interestingly, a Pearl blister is a Pearl that is shaping inside an Oyster. It is a pearl that is still attached to the ‘mother of pearl’. Typical pearls are grown inside the tissue of an oyster. Blister pearls, however, grow against the inside of an oyster’s shell.
This ring is a size 8
The front of the ring is 3.4 cm wide and the back is 0.9 cm wide.
The weight is 15.9 grams.
