London blue topaz on a teardrop shaped bar. A large oval London Blue Topaz with an amazing sparkle. The Topaz is a 57.50 carat IF (internally flawlesss) gemstone, mined in Brazil. I shaped a solid Argentium silver bar into a soft teardrop shape and soldered a permanent long earwire. A perfect, simple setting for such a beautiful gemstone.
Earrings are 5.0 cm long by 1.8 cm wide. The weight is 15.5 grams

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 935. It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added. Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish. And it is always nickel-free.
I hand make all the earwires and posts with Argentium Silver, so all my earrings are nickel-free.
