freeform oval Argentium Silver necklace
Fused irregular ‘Boulders’ made of Argentium silver – which is what these freeform ovals look like to me. I hand shape Argentium silver wire into narrow, rough ovals, then add layers of Argentium Silver and fuse. I have joined these links in a solid chain without a clasp. The chain is opera length and long enough to wrap around for a double necklace. No fussing with keeping the clasp out of sight.
I have also made earrings and a bracelet to match in this ‘Boulder’ design.
Necklace length is 44″.
In metric – The width is 1.3 cm and the length is 112 cm. The weight is 66.4 grams.
