fluorite wrapped in vines earrings
Two cushion cut squares of Flourite, cut en cabochon. The fluorite has the really nice banding, transitioning between the green and the purple of natural Flourite. Set in a bezel mounting and then wrapped with Argentium silver vines.
The earrings are 7.2 cm long by 2.6 cm wide. They are a little heavier because of the generous cut of the Fluorite – they weigh 22.8 grams.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 935. It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added. Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish. And it is always nickel-free.
I hand make all the earwires and posts with Argentium Silver, so all my earrings are nickel-free.
