floating hoop bark earrings – small
An Argentium silver Bark design earring. I make the Bark texture by starting with a thin sheet of silver and then adding small bits of silver and fusing it all together. With a little hammering to blend the texture together – and then it is time to shape into a hoop. I solder the bark hoop together then add Jump rings, Rolo chain and an Argentium ear wire for a floating design hoop earring.
Earrings are 5.6 cm long by 2.7 cm wide. They weigh 6.0 grams.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 935. It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added. Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish. And it is always nickel-free.
I hand make all the earwires and posts with Argentium Silver, so all my earrings are nickel-free.
