Byzantine earring – Pearl drop – Argentium silver
Hand woven Byzantine chain maille in solid Argentium silver – Fine weave.
These earrings are made with 20 gauge – 3mm jump rings. The size of the jump rings determines the thickness and the tightness of the weave. This is the smallest of the Byzantine chain maille designs. And to complete the design I have added a natural fresh water pearl drop. The beautiful lustre of the pearl is a natural accent for the shining whiteness of the Argentium silver.
These earrings are 4.7 cm long. The chain maille is 4.6 mm wide. The Pearl drop is 7 mm wide.
The weight is 4.7 grams.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 940. It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added. Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish. And it is always nickel-free.
