ammonite with bark and twigs pendant
One of the very beautiful Ammonite stones from Alberta, Canada. This Ammonite cabochon was cut freeform – and is 23.5 carats. I pondered over this stone for a long time – but I am very happy with this setting. Gently reminiscent of Japanese architecture – but the twigs pile pulls it back to nature.
The pendant is 4.0 cm long and 5.0 cm wide. It weighs 16.0 grams.
The sterling silver, 1.5mm Omega chain in the photo is included. It is 16″ long. I used tube bails to suspend the necklace – they are quite large and will accommodate most chains, or leather cords.
