bar with pearl – long ear wire
I have made a slender Argentium silver bar with a gentle curve and soldered a long ear wire on one side and a post to mount the half-drilled pearl on the other side.
I bend the long ear wire into a gentle pinched curve that you can either wear as an ear-climber or wear down as a drop earring. No butterfly is needed with this ear wire design.
The pearl is a small natural Fresh Water Pearl that is half drilled. So it is mounted on a post – not just glued on.
Earrings are 2.6 cm long by 0.3 cm wide. They weigh 2.2 grams.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 935. It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added. Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish. And it is always nickel-free.
