Horizontal Bark design ring, with a prong setting.
Bark rings are one of the heaviest rings. I form a base and then keep adding silver bits until a solid, silver bark appears.
For this gemstone I used a prong setting, to allow the light in. This is a square cut Red Topaz with a checkerboard surface. It is 18 carats with an IF rating (internally flawless). It has a hydrothermal treatment.
The front of the ring is 1.9 cm wide and the back is 0.5 cm wide. The weight of this ring is 17.4 grams. This ring is a size 8.25 – wide band.
