smoky quartz in cage design, 93 carats
This is a cage style pendant. Rather than a bail to hang the pendant from – I have created an open design that allows the chain thru the ‘bars’ for a more secure method to hang the pendant. I textured the Argentium silver with lace before creating the cage. I like this design for large stones because it allows them to hang better than the standard bail.
Pendant is 4.4 cm long by 3.8 cm wide – and can be worn either horizontal or vertical. Weight is 38.3 grams.

Argentium Silver is a high quality silver with a silver content of 935. It has the unique feature of having a small amount of Germanium added. Argentium Silver is whiter, harder and slower to tarnish. And it is always nickel-free.
This pendant comes on a 1.5 mm Omega chain – a solid chain – almost a collar – that doesn’t bend into a ‘V’ but stays round – which suits the design perfectly.
