Smoky quartz in a checkerboard cut – rectangle stone – 36 carats IF, from Africa. I used a prong setting to allow the light to get in and show off the stone. Mounted on a solid Boulder panel – I melted the silver edges to create a natural organic edge. Earrings are 5.3 cm long by 2.4 cm wide and weigh 19.3 grams.
